Privacy Policy

Updated: August 26, 2026

This website, TanisLarson.com (the “Site”), and the Hand It Back brand by Tanis Larson are operated by Tanners Holdings Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you visit the Site, join our email or text list, download a free resource such as the workbook, or otherwise interact with us. By using the Site and our services, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following:

•     Contact information — your name and email address, and your mobile phone number if you choose to provide it.

•     Usage information — data collected automatically when you use the Site, such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited.

Purchases of the book and workbook are made through Amazon. We are not the seller of record on Amazon and do not collect or store your payment card details; those transactions are handled under Amazon’s own terms and privacy policy.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

•     Deliver the free workbook and any other resources you request.

•     Send you email updates about the book, the launch, and related news.

•     Send text-message reminders and updates — only if you have expressly opted in (see Section 4).

•     Operate, maintain, and improve the Site and our communications.

•     Comply with legal obligations when required.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only in these limited situations:

•     With trusted service providers who help us operate — for example, our email and text-messaging platform and our website host — who are permitted to use the information only to provide those services to us.

•     When required by law, legal process, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

•     With your explicit consent.

4. Text Messaging (SMS) and Your Consent

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors who support our services (for example, our messaging platform) is permitted solely to help us deliver the messages you asked for. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third parties.

•     Providing your phone number and opting in to texts is optional. It is never required to download the workbook, join our email list, or purchase the book.

•     Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

•     You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. For help, reply HELP.

•     Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.

5. Data Security

We use reasonable technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure, but we work to keep your information as safe as possible.

6. Third-Party Links

The Site may link to external websites, including Amazon. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites, and we encourage you to review their policies.

7. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may:

•     Access the personal information we hold about you.

•     Request corrections to your information.

•     Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal or contractual requirements.

•     Opt out of promotional emails at any time using the unsubscribe link, and out of texts by replying STOP.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to provide our services, meet our obligations, and comply with legal requirements.

9.Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our Site uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, understand how visitors use the Site, and improve performance. This may include analytics tools that collect standard usage data such as pages visited and time on site. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings; some features may not function properly if you do. We do not use cookies to collect SMS opt-in data, and mobile opt-in information is never shared with third parties for marketing.

10. Children’s Privacy

The Site and our services are intended for adults and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The revised version will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
